Refund policy
At Sukh Sehaj, we stand behind the quality of our collections. We have established the clear guidelines to ensure a fair and efficient return process. Please read the following terms carefully before making a purchase.
Returns and refunds are exclusively reserved for defective items or those that significantly deviate from our website product specifications. Weight and dimensions may have minor variations due to the traditional handmade process.
1. Return Window
- We offer a 7-Day return policy. You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order. Requests made after this period will not be entertained.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- Condition: Items must be in their original, unused condition, with all brand tags and protective packaging intact.
- Proof of Purchase: You must provide the receipt or proof of purchase.
- Partial Refunds: In orders containing multiple items, refunds or replacements are strictly limited to the specific unit(s) proven to be defective. A defect in one product does not justify the return of the entire order. Shipping charges and COD fees are non-refundable as they pertain to the successful delivery of the remaining items.
3. Reporting Damages (Mandatory Unboxing Video)
To protect against transit damage and prevent fraudulent claims, an unboxing video is mandatory for all replacement or refund requests.
· The Video Must:
o Start before you open the outer courier seal.
o Be continuous and unedited (no cuts, pauses, or transitions).
o Clearly show the shipping label and all sides of the sealed box.
o Clearly show the product being removed and inspected for the first time.
- Requests for "missing items" or "damaged in transit" will be automatically rejected if a valid, unedited unboxing video is not provided within 48 hours of delivery.
- Without a valid unboxing video, we cannot process claims for transit damage or missing components.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Artisanal Variations: Please note that our products are individually hand-finished by traditional artisans. As a result, minor surface pits, oxidation spots, or slight variations in weight and dimensions, slight symmetry variations, or "patina" (natural darkening of brass) are natural characteristics of handcrafted brass. These unique markers confirm the artisanal nature of the product and do not constitute manufacturing defects or grounds for return.
- Customized/Personalized Items: Any item with custom engravings or specific Vastu-requested modifications.
- Sale Items: Items purchased during "Clearance" or "Flash Sale" events.
5. Return Process
- Contact us at info@sukhsehaj.in with your Order ID and the unboxing video/photos.
- If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label or instructions on where to send your package.
- Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
6. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse:
- Prepaid Orders: Refunds are processed to your original payment method (Bank Account/UPI/Card) within 7–10 business days. Please note that banks and credit card issuers often require additional processing time to post the credit to your account. If you haven't received your funds within 15 business days of our approval, kindly reach out to us.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Since we cannot refund cash, you will be requested to provide your bank details or UPI ID. The refund will be issued via bank transfer within 7–10 business days. Note: Initial shipping charges and COD service fees paid at the time of order are non-refundable.
7. Cancellations & Undeliverable Shipments
- Cancellations: We accept cancellation requests within 1 hour of order placement, provided the order has not been dispatched. A non-refundable processing fee of 5% (covering payment gateway and platform fees) will be deducted from the refund amount. Once an order is processed or handed over to our courier partner, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
- Failed Delivery/Refusal: If a shipment is returned to our warehouse after three (3) failed delivery attempts or due to a refusal at the doorstep, the order is considered "Abandoned." Re-shipping: If you wish for us to ship the item again, a fresh shipping fee will be charged in addition to Return to order charges for earlier attempts. We do not offer refunds for abandoned or refused shipments.
